maumau artist-in-residence program* is a 10-weeks residency program which aims the artists to collaborate with local actors such as local artists, craftsmen and other actors. The residency program consists of 9 weeks production, collaboration and networking period ,followed by 1 week dedicated to exhibitions, events, artist talks, etc. The studio space for artists is located in the historical center of Istanbul, Suleymaniye, as part of the Istanbul Design Museum location alongside institutions like SALT, IKSV, etc. The Istanbul Design Museum project is realized by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.
